International Day of No Shoes

Big image
International Day of No Shoes is a Barefeet Day that gives you the opportunity to help Barefeeet raise money for a great cause, while having fun!!

Help us deliver the dream to over 2000 children by Donating. International Day of No Shoes is about creating awareness for the work that Barefeet does and fundraising for our cores areas. We are fundraising to support the Barefeet Festival 2016 and its core events, these are 40 Fires, Elevat10n Youth Performances and for the Children Travelling from the Provinces. The annual Barefeet Youth Arts Festival is the culmination of our intervention workshops, bringing youth from across the country together with local, national and international artists for a colourful, vibrant and exciting two-week celebration of theatre, art, music, dance, film, debate, carnival, interactive workshops and more. This year again over 2000 children will show what they have been doing with Barefeet over the last months. With dancing, singing, music and spectacle the children will share their messages with us and each other. This event uses the power of entertainment to inspire, build and change lives.
